hi,

i am new to gps. just downloaded MFM Ver 1.68. I followed the instruction and downloaded the file into the computer before transferring the file to my tube. but how do i activate it?
my garmin is still running using version 5.00.30s60.9-ASN TW

run the msmv168.exe file, after finish, go to x:\Garmin\Malfreemaps folder and look for gmapsupp.img and copy over to your SD card Garmin folder will do

hi,
i found gmapsupp.img icon under File Manager - Garmin (in my memory card). however, when i open my garmin, the map still look like the previous one i got (the taiwan version). how do i activate MFM?

Ok, after u run the mfmv168.exe, go to the folder u install in the hardisk look for x:\Garmin\malfreemaps folder (x mean the drive u installed it).  Then, copy the gmapsupp.img and replace the gmapsupp.img in your phone SD card under Garmin folder.

mfm v168 is no much different than the earlier version, only some improvement and it is the latest release.  Thank to the mappers who do the great job.
