You can reactivate it at setting>personal>homescreen>e-mail notification, there's an option to turn it on. BTW how come there's still nokia messaging update at app. update after updated the firmware? Guess it only partially update the phone, so for more complete update need to go thru NSS?

It is just me or anyone else notice after update to v.30, the batt. drained more quickly? v.21 my batt. still can last 2 day before need charging now only 1 day kon edy.....

I got this problem before, the slide key got off from the slide switch it mounted on, just push it downward a bit harder and it will go back to original position, hope your problem same with me, otherwise could be the switch spoil, have to go back NCC. By the way after few days of testing, I found the program that drain my batt. faster, is the update for nokia messaging, after uninstall the update, phone when back to normal.
