Case is good, downside as mentioned is the unlocking, but I use mykeylock to unlock so its ok. Also using autofocus is a bit harder because it is quite hard to press down the camera button. But, it is by far the best case I have used.

I used capdase before this became loose quite fast. So far this case is not getting loose. I think it will not get loose. But the downside is that it is really hard to take it off once its on. It can be done but if something happens like the phone hangs, will take longer to take off then capdase. But still I high recommend this case.

I use my phone to connect to the internet too. Using pc suite. Should be fine. If problem persists try out joikuspot. (uncle google). But I find that the connected speeds via the usb cable is still faster than joikuspot.

The dreaded 4 missing shortcuts happened to me on V30 after i just updated via FOTA. Damn mass storage mode. After a hard reset all was back to normal. My conclusion, try to avoid mass storage as much as possible except when necessary such as installing garmin. Although you could use a pen drive to extract the program then drag to the phone. Either way, for the 4 missing shortcuts, so far reset is the only way.

Just saw the news pics for the 5800 navigation edition, looks good. But honestly I really hope they release an actual update to our phone like the 5900 or whatever they want to call it. The other options out there for the price are just not worth changing the current 5800 xm for.

Ok I just updated. Find the link in other forums. It is not at the official site. Also, I used the old support files .exe file to install first. Then I installed the garmin folder. But I totally forgot to backup my POI, now they are gone. Crap. So please back up or try to just update without deleting the original folder. Should work.

The font has changed: don't know if this is just the one from the forum or in all versions. Seems a bit faster, not sure about during navigation. Will test it driving later.

Ok guys, so far the new garmin. I think you can just install the new .sis file and it works fine. Then you will be able to save all of your old favorites.

Hey does anyone else here get this message, "sim card registration failed" and then I don't get any network coverage. If I restart it is OK. I read online. It could be the SIM card or the phone. My line is fully active, I already called maxis care. I guess I will go in and get a new SIM from maxis.
