mmm... weird.. i tried resetting it... still the same...

when i press the top button - power butoon once.. comes the menu : i select " SWITCH OFF".. then the 5800 will turn off the phone but before that it'll just flash the screen of the menu, contact & alarm before it turns completely OFF.. 

anybody else experience that ? is it firmware related ?

you are right... it's the backgrd programs that are shown before shutting down ...

anyways how do it turn them off ?
coz even after i just turn on the phone and tried turning off.. it still shows me some of the bckgrd progs b4 shutting down ...

I noticed after upgrade to V30 firmware, lost of gps signal always occurred.
And when I am on the Notrh South Highway, sometimes my garmin shows me on a empty field instead of the road
...

BTW i'm still currently on Firmware V21. I'd like to wait until the kinetic awesomeness is implemented. Sounds like v30 has lots of problems need to be ironed out.

yeah only leave i-gps on.  The rest will def give u a fat bill if you roam in Singapore.

i got 'operation cancelled by server' while trying to update through fota. anybody knows why?

issit now the original 5800XM from nokia doesnt come with the pouch and the stand anymore? seller said new batch from nokia doesnt include these.

my garmin is still the same, no problem like yours, maybe you need a hard reset.

but well i just wanna format my phone , coz apparently my song got corrupted where i cant refresh my music library ..

and my garmin also suddenly corrupted too..

oh nope not casing , car mount already got 1 XD

but i am looking forward to get the car mount for 5800 Navigation edition if possible.

Probably some ppl its not a surprise but i think its not easy to get this item here. and quite nice to use i think better than the one come with our phone
