probably due to improper disconnect from mass storage mode. yup, need hard reset.

just ignore the warning. almost all apps comes with that warning.

unsigned? that's even harder to understand.

just stick with signed apps and OVI Store free apps.

unsigned doesn't mean commercialware. it just means they doesnt get it sign from Symbian (for security purpose). that's why we apply for dev cert.in another way of saying, we TRYING the software therefore its our responsible if Symbian got corrupted.

this website allows you to sign your apps online without the need for devcert. BUT not all apps can be sign thru this method.

if you really want to max out your tube potential, apply devcert and wait for a day. tutorials can be found in this and previous threads.

i bet this only happen if you choose homescreen mode = SHORTCUT. other modes are functioning as usual right?
if so, even on v30 this might happen. the culprit is, mass storage mode. you have to safely remove it first. whatever the problem, a restart wouldn't too hard. try this first then only report here.

owh ya. the solution? reset. soft or hard will do.

can you check on this??

go anywhere where you need to type something (e.g. search). using alphanumeric mode, push asterisk (*) to bring up symbol menu. can you exit it back?
