That's not to say that all fitness trainers out there are bad, they're mostly stigmatized thanks to a bunch of really f***ed up ones.
Once, i started training about the same time a fitness trainer started training a client, and i could've sworn that half of the time, he's looking at his phone, while he put his client into sets lasting about 1 minute.
For those who want to sign up for long-term, multiple session PTs (which is mostly the only choice offered by large scale commercial gyms), at least be objective and ask YOURSELF: Am i ready to be responsible in pursuit of the fitness results i want.
Know that at the end of the day, the most a fitness trainer can provide is 3 our of 168 hours of our lives in a week; we have the other 165 hours to screw things up.
