vy nicely done eric!!! now i wonder why there isn't much interest in this brand... given that the specs & features are tremendously much better than its competitors. some more @ cheaper prices!!!

Any members can provide any info??

Is it coz dis brand juz came to the local scene???

Added on August 7, 2009, 6:18 pm1 main reason i cud think is due to the service/ or lacking customer service faciilities.. It seems that a lot of notebook purchasers are very particulars on after sales services..

For example ppl are so excited when dell upgraded the XPS 16 with the ATI 4670 card.. seems like its heaven send!! Given that the GX725 comes with ATI 4850 a much better card @ similar price, nobody pay attention to MSI..

Hem, why??

This wonderful machine GX725 cost around 5K... juz check with its main distributor media forte for more details bro... however, a lot of the forum members don't really like it due to the "perceived" problems in servicing this machine..

Onli way is for some nice owners provide feedback, then we will know for sure how 1) reliable the machine is, and 2) servicing issues...

frankly, i think MSI shud be more decisive in their business strategy in terms whether they want to play the notebook game or not.. they are half heartly intro gaming products but stopped in between by not having sufficient machines for the sellers to sell.. example, ppl interested in the gx725, but all we can find is gx620 or gx 720.. np but these old models are mostly sold @ 4,999.. this is ridiculous pricing!!

Moreover, most sellers said they don't hav gx725 in stock due to low demand for gaming notebooks ( my fren spoken to media forte) in kl - then i am wondering why alienware can sell their MX15X & M17X at much more higher price than GX725??? some more we know that alienware got buyer as can be shown in the alienware thread..

Therefore, i believe it boils down to idiot MSI stupid policies, THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WANT TO DO IN THE NOTEBOOK SEGMENT OF THE INDUSTRY.. hav a nice weekend, cheers bros & sis!!! smile.gif
