i just bought a MSI wind u100 plus wit RM1199 (include 2gb ram)


i'm thinking, does anyone here know how or where got help ppl to mod for the touch screen??

u can mod the LCD screen with touch screen.
got a solder less touch screen selling online wit about usd1xx.

i saw in the youtube, n also in the MSI forum n insanewind forum.

most of it had mod wit touch screen n OS wit Win7 or other OS.

just asking n c malaysia where can help to mod only.

i think....ya, will void the warranty.

i just bought my Wind U100 plus at ViewNet (the hypermarket one),
the price RM1199,the price including upgrade to 2gb ddr2 667 n some accessories.
n come wit OEM Win XP.

u can install win 7, if u dun want xp.
but remember the win xp is ori (they didnt give disc...just recovery disc only)

but u can dual boot. ( i thinking to do that now)
keep ur win xp. just install another OS.
then boot the OS u want.

i heard also can for other netbook that with the same size of the screen.

since those netbook, all almost the same.

but....nobody in malaysia know to do n sell? i dun dare to mod it wit my clumsy hand.....

i play wit flying spaghetti monster n com wit ai,
a bit lag.....

got anyone that didnt lag???

i already OC 15% for my u100 plus.

if play normal map, run perfect.
just the DOTA map only.

for?? for warcraft DOTA??
i test already so many time.
if 5ai n me (6), may not so lag.
but if all 10, i'll b so lag, especially when many hero casting spell (skill) 2gether, n also when reach enemy base.....

if i play normal map, everything run fine.
i ok for it lah. play 1 v 1 for DOTA loh..... or 3v3 loh
just for fun.
no choice......

i read in insanewind forum.
they say just create one more partition for the 2nd OS only......
who got try b4??

bcoz i want to remain my OEM XP, then install one more Win 7 or ubuntu or other OS.
