If i loose body fat, does that means my weight will reduce too?

From your other thread you seem like a typical dude who does bicep and abs training only. So many of this kinda ppl out there and not one of them squats. I met a guy in the uni gym the other day, he said he's been training for over a year, around the same time I started, and he prolly still looks the same. Takes Nitrotech and is a gym junkie, but swears that squatting will stunt his height and insists I have damn good genetics compared to his. whistling.gif

actually i wanna do squat and weight lifting but i dare not malu cz so many experts and geng ppl there dun wanna look stupid infront of them sad.gif

jz like last time, when i started gym, i only did treadmill, till i observed observed and observed then only started slowly with other machines.

just go internet check out the websites and videos available and try to learnt he workouts from home. i did a lot of experimentation with bw squatting in my own room when i first started. i even tried imagining having a barbell on my back, etc.

but of course nothing beats the real thing, so make sure you execute the movement with proper weights and equipment the next time you hit the gym.

anyway genetics do play an important role in progress and ultimate achievement and basic overall body shape/looks. you can follow what other people do, but its not gonna make you look like them.

Why care about what other people see?
Those "geng ppl" have no time to look at you or anyone else. They are too busy with their training. you could do a circus act in the gym and they won't care.

You should be training hard in the gym that you don't even notice people looking at you or what not.

well, everyone was once a noob.

i still remember when i 1st started, i squat with two pusxy 7.5kg dumbell, and there is one fellow named john said something like:" pusxy can lift more than you."
BUT who cares? as long as you know what you are doing, read read and read, there is so much of usefull info in internet. Stronglift 5x5, rippetoe, stick to the basic.
just so you know,by today i am able to squat 110kg++, no one teach me how to squat, bench press bla bla, youtube is my sifu, rippetoe ebook is my sifu, and lyn'ian too. lyn'ian can be very helpful if you really tried something and goes wrong they will guide you. but if not really do your study, they no even give you a fucck.

Just talk to people around the gym. Most of the people will be very helpful and be willing to teach you how to execute whatever exercise properly

If they are not, either they are busy or they brought their humongous ego into the gym with them.

I started alone with no one to teach me. I just do my own stuff, observe people & learn.

After that, i got a trainer just to get me started & serious. After that, im on my own & i know what the hell im doin

WE're one of the most arrogant bunch of gym rats in Malaysia yet half of us won't even make it pass stage 1 of a bodybuilding contest. We're essentially the true definition of elitist gym rats. No wonder we're still skrawny fucts that still worship a 200LBS bodybuilder
