http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1224847 this what u are looking for max biggrin.gif

U r quite tall , I am 185 cm myself . We need to lift the fork seriously to gain some quality mass !

whey protein is not a cure-all for muscle gain, you need good whole foods
1.(Chicken , beef, lamb , turkey )
2. Every vegetables put on the table
3. some nuts

and train hard.

Whey protein is not magic, is good for convenience sake to replace your food. bed time zzz

Alrite, in 21 days I have to try to do 270lbs x 4 reps for BB Bench. But now im stuck at 200lb x 10 reps, so my 1 rep max is 266lb still below target and it is just 1 rep max... So powerlifter out there, whats the solution to increase the poundage for 4 reps in 21days ??

Go between 230 - 250LBS. Push for 5 reps. If you can do 6 reps, that's too many. Add weight. If you can't hit 5 reps, lower to the next nearest weight you can for 5. Now repeat for 5-8 sets.

Actually 5-8 sets may be too many. I'd set for 3-5 actually with the 5 rep range. 8 might really be pushing it.

Hey there peeps, I'm just wondering if it is alright for me to switch back to rippetoe's training from HVT before proceeding to bill starr 5x5 ? Would like to concentrate back with strength training.

Just wondering, is it normal to not have sore muscles after a workout?im pretty sure the weight that im lifting arent too light as i could only last for 3 sets with 8 reps.
