hi, i would like to know more about laptop graphic, basically how do we tell which one is better than the other? because i am not really good in technical field, i would like to know if we can say nvidia GTX is better than GT, and higher number like a GTX 560 is better than a GTX 485, and these 2 are better than a GT 555?
i would also like to know if GDDR5 is better than DDR3? and 2 GB memory is better than a 1 GB memory?
i read about the comparison table in the previous post, if i am anticipating online gaming or some pc game, with a certain graphic need, for example like diablo 3 in the future? which one can last for a longer use in the future? i would like to buy a laptop with a good graphic card since laptop not easy to upgrade in future, if they actually can...
sorry i am not familiar with graphic card specification, i'm a noob enduser >.<

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Jun 10 2011, 10:51 AM) Yes, GTX485M at the top, though if you want the similar performance with less cost, consider AMD HD6970M.. i see, i have been using nvidia, may be i should give AMD a try, then i have more choices =)

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Jun 10 2011, 11:00 AM) Here's some benchmark, http://www.anandtech.com/show/4223/eurocom...d-6970m-rocks/5From the price point, you need to add around $250+ to upgrade from HD6970M to GTX485M.. oooh quite a similar performance i should say? and the 250 is in USD !? if so going for 6970 is really cheaper @@ such a high end cards only come with brands like alienware or sager? any other options available, as in malaysia?
