Turn Vsync off and vary the frame rate. You'll get a better gauge of your card's performance.

The card itself cost a fortune,$450, but it was a worthwhile upgrade from the 9800m GTS. Synthetic benchmarks wise, it doesn't seem to triumph much, but in terms of in game performance, it blew the 9800m GTS away.

Try undervolting your card. It'll help with the temps. Just retain the default clocks, the undervolted card should be able to manage those clocks.

yup, i know, but i do call Asus, they say this laptop is build to be hot(except battery). thx ur advice
LOL. The length some tech support would go to. I don't know what those people over in Asus are smoking, but 100c? The core, perhaps has a threshold of a 108c, but not the components surrounding the GPU, especially the VRAMs, those are susceptible to heat.

I'd think twice about buying a laptop designed by an ODM which states that its laptops are built to be hot, and they mean it literally!

3d Mark 06 doesn't mean a thing. Don't be too bothered by it.

Same here. Overhyped, I guessed.
