QUOTE(blackmarket @ Aug 3 2009, 12:35 AM) nope. As you said, there is no way to change the reso for the basic version of 3dmark06. I really have no idea why my 3dmark06 only allow me to run at 1000x700 but everyone else here is doing 1200x800 wat's the native resolution of ur laptop???

actually, if u take a closer look between the G 105M and 9300M GS, the graphic score is roughly the same, it's the CPU (P7350 on G105M vs P8600 on 9300M GS) which dragged down the score... moreover, if u look at the Memory clock, the G 105M is lower, meaning it's probably using DDR2 only...
so yeah, the score is pretty ok...
now left the detail then i will upload... those are not for me, it's for the other forummers who wants to do a detailed comparison...

SM2.0 and SM3.0 both GPU are abt the same... it's the CPU used and the frame buffer that dragged the performance of the G 105M... the core and shader are clocked higher, but RAM is lower than the 9300M GS here... Added on August 4, 2009, 4:50 pmQUOTE(Grimwrath @ Aug 4 2009, 05:21 PM) update oledi... where can get updated drivers eh? googled around and all i could find were some fron nvidias webbie that just installs nvdia HD audio >_< updated... u can grab new drivers from LaptopVideo2Go website... Nvidia official ones are fine, juz that they only update once per 3 mths... This post has been edited by astria: Aug 4 2009, 04:50 PM

yup...
and it's already close to wat 9800M GTX SLI can give...
Added on August 5, 2009, 12:09 pmand his CPU score is exceptionally high also...
Added on August 5, 2009, 12:31 pmjuz did a check at notebookcheck, and found that they listed G 210M, GT 230M and GT 240M in the list...
G 210M is G 110M/9500M G/800M GS repackaged in 40nm (16SP, 64-bit)
while GT 230M anf GT 240M are 9700M GTS repackaged in 40nm (48SP, 128-bit)
well, the 2 GT looks promising though...

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Aug 5 2009, 08:00 PM) Oh, astria, is there a diff between Geforce Go and GoForce? GoForce??? or u mean GeForce M??? basically for 7 series and earlier, it was called GeForce Go, starting from 8 series, it's GeForce M, M for mobile... u may notice 7150M is a bit funny, but basically, it's an IGP based on the GeForce Go 7 family (still using PS and VS, not SP), but released during the GeForce 8M times...

best if u can provide 3D Mark....
as for the GPU-Z, i think it's becuz it has difficulty recognising some new GPUS... iirc it has problem identifying GeForce 100M as well...

HD4670 > GT 130M DDR2 > HD4570 DDR3 = GT 120M > HD4570 DDR2 > G 105M = 9300M GS
GT 240M no one knows, it's still very new in the market... should perform close to a HD4600 though...

no one knows until someone really get hold of a SXPS16 with it...
anyway, the memory controller is capable of handling GDDR3, DDR3 and DDR2...

GPU-Z super long never update already... till now still 0.34 only... it even ve difficulty recognizing HD4570, 100M and 200M cards...
Dackson, look at CCC, it says DDR3...
