2nd, OC in laptop not as easy as in desktop. It might reduce the GC life span which will shorten ur laptop life instead of using them long long time

QUOTE(geforce88 @ Dec 9 2009, 10:52 PM) hey guys, i got quite a few noob questions abt gc... nvidia and ati have different architecture... comparing spec of gc cannot get the comparison of performance...the best is look at benchmark urself1st of all, when choosing gc, what is most important??? 4870 vapor-x 2gb is obviously having 2gb of memory and 256 bit, and a gtx 285 is having 1gb of memory but 512 bit... a 9800gt got 1800mhz of reference clock rate memory (or something like that), but a 4850 only got around 993 mhz, and yet both are 1gb... so guys, can anyone tell me which is more important? i'm very confused already... |

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Dec 23 2009, 05:14 PM) since long time can change already, except the one using SU, SP series, those are soldered to the mobo. 1 more point, upgrade ur processor and gpu might void ur warranty ^^open the case, unlock the socket and exchange the processor, then lock it back~ as for gpu, 99% notebook in market can't change, except those using mxm slot then can change, even that need to check bios compatibility and etc... well, the point is cpu and gpu part can be expensive and expecially here, hard to find it~ |
