Last time, Singapore ask Malaysia to provide water to them so badly.

Now, Singapore can produce their own water themsleves through ocean water desaltation and NEWater. It is only waiting for the contract between SG and MY to expire before SG cancel the deal with MY forever.

Dont tell me about those NEWater raw material comes from shit water kind of nonsense, it is even more cleanner than those water in Malaysia.

Their technology of water desaltation from a company Hyflux is well-known all over the globe.

cancelling the water contract benefits malaysia more than singapore anyway. At such a low price, it does not contribute to anything in Malaysia, in fact singapore is the one who purchase at such a low price and sell the water to citizen at a high price and earn a significant profit from there. Singapore does not need to depend on malaysia? Don't think so, without the water we provide, they will lose a significant amount of money for their government.

And before you say that singapore can sell the distilled water, cost wise they won't earn much from selling those water because of the high cost, so the end story, singapore STILL depend on Malaysia  smile.gif

last time yes, MY's water is a must for SG. Now, SG can produce water directly from the sea.

even if Singapore really needs water, SG is more willing to buy it from Indonesia rather than Malaysia.
