from wht i know & wht i hv done if got 1 core fail when prime then need to adjust acc % value to that core something like +2%, +4%..but if got warning when prime i dunno, need to ask lyn sifu to answer  thumbup.gif

My mobo don't have acc. Hmm, I wonder what does the warning means. Is my unlock not stable?

Edit:

Unker google does help! It seems that the warning is because of heat. correct me if i'm wrong tho!

acc is at asus mobo, i dnt know wht it call at gigabyte mobo
sure u hv acc function bro, if not how can u unlock ur procesor
*
if i not mistaken, acc no longer supported in newer chipset (890/850). the reason i can unlock is because bios update from gigabyte. there's one option called "core unlock". when i enable it, wah la my X2 become X4. tongue.gif

ur mobo is rev 2.1? mine is rev 1.0. latest bios is F7. after i enable "unlock core" option in bios, i can set whether to enable 2,3 or 4 core. maybe its different from ur bios. hmm.gif

I'm a newbie in unlock cores and overclock.
Okay let see i'm missing any step.
After i went into bios, just go to Advanced BIOS features->CPU unlock->Enabled->save and exit (to azilazwa: I can't see enable 3th and 4th core, hmmm, will anything happen if i install your f7 version in my rev2.1 MOBO)
To saturn85: Need to manual add how much voltage? Can't boot into windows and no msg error after add to 1.4v.
*
i dont think u can. have u tried pressing ctrl + f1 ? it can show some hidden bios option.

maybe you can try until 1.425v.
but still not sure whether it can work or not. unsure.gif

r u sure bro? i unlock @ 1.35V only. default Vcore for my mobo is 1.375V. so i manually set it to 1.35V. manage to unlock all core and oc till 3.6GHz stable @ 1.35V.

I just change the mutilpler to x19 in bios, other no change. But I haven't use the stress software to test it. So far no hang or auto restart at 3.8Ghz and using CM 212+ as CPU cooler.
Erm, how to open 3th core? The BIOS only let me Enabled the CPU unlock. Sorry i'm newbie in unlock core.

i want to ask u again, have u press ctrl + f1 at bios page? i think, to make sure ur system is stable, u need to do stress test. it dont need long, just half hour of 1 hour is enough.
