why are you using HWM Pro? just use the normal version and you can see the max, min and current temp.

Hi..thanx for the reply..i just follow a link provided by someone and download the apps sad.gif

FYI.. last 9 i try to bump the CPU voltage 1 step from "Auto" and now is @ 1.47V... 3DMark05 pass thorugh... run prime95 from 1am till 7am this morning and notice the max temp is 49C...oh am using CM 212+ with TX4 as cooling.

Is 1.47V for 555 BE procesor too high or just right for OC? unsure.gif

wow, full load 49°c on 1.47v. rclxms.gif
inside air cond room?

saturn85 .... not in air-cond room...normal room temperature.. i think is because of the Hyper 212+ with TX4 and my casing ventilation

which temp is 49?

not sure about ur motherboard.but i think biostar ta790gx 128m tends to show lower temperature than it shud be.so better watch out on this
and by looking at the vrm.. u better dont go beyond 1.45v x4 and prime for long time.. it might kill ur mobo.. biostar is quite fragile.
*
kuntawakaw ... 49C is shown on both THRM and TMPIN0 at CPUID Hardware Monitor.

Guys...

I think i've a problem now ... yesterday i try to OC with adjusting the Multiplier with AMD Overdrive apps. The CPU Vcore bump to 1.5V with max 52C on 100% load and passed Prime95 test running for 7.5 hours. sweat.gif

My Rig now running on 3500Mhz (200 x 17.5)...pls advise onhow to decrease the voltage value and get it stabilize? .... i'm targeting at 3800Mhz only. notworthy.gif

nice. you can adjust vcore inside bios.
then run stress test, if stable, decrease voltage by a notch.
repeat and until the lowest stable voltage. biggrin.gif
After trying few days... I guess 1.47 is my stabil voltage as i try to lower it to 1.45, 3DMark05 hangs... so i presume if it can't pass 3DMark05, my games will face the same problem too... sad.gif

also, using Biostar A770E3 mobo. this mobo supports 125W proc only. the unlocked B40 shows that the max TDP is 126W
can my mobo support this...safely?
Hi Hitawari...

your mobo able to support the proc but u may not want to or perform OC'ng.

am using BioStar TA785GE 128M (rated 125W also) previously and it 'die' on me when try OC'ng the unlock B55 (TDP 160W) .. lucky mobo got warranty tongue.gif
