o.o the cpu-nb will generate extra heat if overclocked? coz my unlocked phenomII x3 43 celcius idle with stock cooler...

that's one hell of a batch... 4.3GHz capable w/ right kinda hardware combination + hardcore tweakin... 
not really bro, imc differ from chips to chips. 2.6GHz is doable on c2 but not all w/ stock volt, some even top up @ 2..5GHz ish regardless what kinda volt pumped. same w/ 2.8GHz on c3, not all is capable doin that w/ stock volt. out of 2 chips i've tested, both max out @ 2.7xGHz w/ moderate volt (<1.4v), 3GHz is a no go regardless what kinda volt i gave.

I think the older Deneb is proven to be a better overclocker and has higher success rate of unlocking ..

Current batch all is Callisto ..

after i install the 212+ dual fans + tuniq TX-2 ..
the idle temp still at 47.
and my pc perform sudden lag..

I got one of this 1003EPMW, but too bad, unlock already cannot load into windows

well,that is victory..i see the number is not set at 3200Mhz like old BIOS ver..it will be jumping like dat..same like mine,u can click at my CPUID to the link..

HT is not at 2000Mhz by default,it 2009Mhz..

hey anyone can help with some suggestions? i'm able to unlock TRI cores at acc-2% with stock vcore and stock nbcore, HT link speed 1.6ghz and HT width at 16 bits.
any other suggestion to help me unlock 4th core without BSOD?

tried vcore +0.1 nbocer + 0.06 and acc - 12% with all cores enabled but still BSODed

i heard sometime some cores can unlock in xp but not win vista/7 or something...

upped the bios, + 0.2 vcore + .2 nbv - 12% acc.... still auto restart at win load screen

argh T_T 3 cores unlock only.... can someone advise me how to overclock this? i want to play GTA4..... is hypertx3 enough to overclock? or should i get something better?

if im unlock my 555be can i use it like normal proc, i alredy unlock x4 cannot play cod black ops if i change to x3 i can play.
one more thing why when i unlock proc to x4 hwmonitor not display temp for each core can someone help me i still newbe on this

gettin free core(s) or not depends on luck, but d mobo mentioned doesn't support core unlockin. u need sb710/750 (ati) or other boards with nvcc (nvidia) for core unlockin.

finally got my athlon x3 425 up and running
It's able to unlock to Phenom II x4 B25, detected in bios, and able to POST. However, when entered windows, it will cause my whole system to go haywire. All sorts of hardware/software error will appear. Tried disabling the 4th core, but still the same. Guess it's a bad 4th core

I was thinking of increasing the CPU voltage, but not so sure how much should I increase. I read some articles that mentioned if unable to use the 4th core, the L3 cache can still be unlocked, but in the BIOS it's just written N/A.

aiks, is there any way to see what batch using software, without taking out the proc?

but since mine doesnt have L3 cache, guess it's a propus core. can i try increasing the vcore to make it stable?

yes, disabled but still not stable. what is a safe range for the vcore?
btw is the current vcore alright? actually it's my first time dealing with vcore for amd procs, usually i see the vcore for my E8400 is about 1.25V i think..
