Synopsis: The prequel to the popular character, Laughing ‘Gor’ (Michael Tse) in the highly rated TVB drama series “Emergency Unit”. This movie tells the story of Laughing and before he join the police force has a dark background as member of a tried under Chou (Anthony Wong). Chou was the leader of the triad and persuaded Laughing to join the police force as an undercover for the triad to spy on police activities. While in the police academy, Laughing excel but not well enough to be confirm as a police officer. Instead he was recruited to be an undercover agent to spy on some illegal activities. Laughing now maintains the life as a double undercover agent, with crucial information from two sides. But an incident disturbs the balance of the two identities and threatens to blow his cover. With both the triad and police force suspicious of his loyalty, Laughing does not know who he can trust to save him.

This show mainly about Laughing gor life before he become a Dai - ko in Eu3 . Moreover this movie is specially for him with all the big cast around. I guess who know laughing gor should see this show since his character is such great in EU3
well....juz finish the show....is not up to me expectation...mayb myself expect too much....if u looking for action tis is certainly not ur choice...overrall....is watchable...

jus came back from 1 u around 3 hours ago the movie was alright bt i was kinda suprise the whole cinema only got a few ppl inside there -.- overall i think the movie is gud bcos of the many famous actors inside bt i feel they don concentrate on laughing that much is more on triads and all lah bt thats jus my personal opinion bt all in all i giv it 7.5/10 shud be worth ur money
great movie. the only thing i hate is that the story is not consistent with the drama. no wendy, no tin kor, no sam jeh.
though its kind of good that they show how he gets the name laughing and the coin flipping habit.
and anthony wong and francis ng really made me lol in the cinema.

zhing hing's head is eric tsang, with 2 tai kor- anthony wong and francis ng and 1 or 2 more unimportant ones.

In EU3, Laughing got mention he joined chung hing for 8 years already... so this movie maybe even more earlier 9yrs ago mayb ...
maybe Tin Kor come in within those 8years instead ..
No, but the brilliant acting by Anthony Wong and Francis Ng definitely made it a fun watch.
ya man ... i loved the part where francis's character tried to smash the bottle of laughing n it couldn't break ... n did it again a few more times after that ... wat a scene ...
just watched this movie today.. and i don't think that this movie is related to the tvb drama in anyway.. bcoz..
1. there's no Xin Sir in the drama. 2. Laughing Gor's hair is shorter in the tvb drama, but not in this movie. 3. Altho the director/they try to make this movie somehow related to the tvb drama (by showing the 2 policemen + Hao Gor's name in the end), but calling out Hao Gor instead of Tin Gor is definitely wrong/not in the timeline of the drama series. 4. There's no Wendy (Laughing Gor's gf) in the movie.
