For me both will also give same result..but...depending on your routing of the cable....if you are lining it with the ac cord or bundle it hidden with other wires, its best to get a well insulated one (picture type a)
Also, be wary of cheap HDMI cables, you will need to keep the receipt, there has been a few cases ppl. buying Carrefour Brand (which works well if is ok) are faulty when plug in.
Depending on HDMI cables, MOST do not like to be bent 90 degrees. This is true if your TV is mounted to the wall. Sometimes the sockets on the TV require you to bent the cable 90 degree.

Maybe you can look for this guy ' uberific ', if you are not expect the picture quality like 1080P with BD player, for normal DVD player, the product is excellent.

I have tested one which look like the first photo bought from one of the Low Yat shops with WD TV and Panasonic 42S10 and it did not work although it look very high quality. Totally no picture. On the other hand, the Carrefour one also did not work with WD TV and Panasonic 42S10. Picture keep going on and off. But it worked with the Bluray Player BD60 and 42S10. So now I have the cheap Carrefour HDMI cable with my BluRay Player BD60 and the free Panasonic HDMI cable with the WD TV.

haiz...cable is cable..and HDMI is HDMI...just be aware of the HDMI version(check wiki for the version) and worry more on the quality of the connector instead of super deluxe cable...

If wall mounted, you can buy 90 degree cables.
