I'm not much expert, but personally I'd choose Samsung over Sony. I lurve Sony brand and products, but I think Samsung is the leading brand in LCD TV for its innovations. Quality wise I'd say both are equal. Although at the moment, Sony is having its mega sale with alot of promos going around.

get samsung of course. Sony LCD panel is made by samsung u know. If sony is no.1 then why it's tv panel nid no.2's panel. No.1.5? And 46B7000 is LED tv it's contrast, color and features are all much better than Sony Z series tv. And the USB 2.0 movie function which can play almost all video codec thru USB port with either pen drive or hard disc up to 1 terrabyte.

Think I'm gonna stick with Sony. Bigger screen better, heh. But the shop owner told me to wait till next month as a few brands gonna come out new model. (mostly LED TV) So i'm guessing the price for older model will drop abit. Thanks for the awesome opinion. This post has been edited by C_Sagi: Jul 24 2009, 01:11 PM

Today at AV show I was offered RM7200 for 46" Z450 without the free S350. Minus another Sony rebate of RM300 will bring the total price down to RM6900. That is 3k+ cheaper than retail price of RM9999. Dang I'm drooling all over....

AFAIK, Sony Style will be the first to be informed about any clearance regarding Sony's product. Dono lol.

Sony very difficult to come down in price...but its seen in their LCD range, but expect not much. Most of the time, they will 'package it' to make it less.

Sony has made a huge impact on its brand image in Malaysia. All thanks to their marketing and advertisements. But Samsung on the other hand still remain the top on market share for LCD. Sony is 2nd place.

I'm thinking of going with sony since the screen bigger compare with samsung price. Manage to get the sony 52 inch down to 10800 with a free blu-ray player and hdmi cable. But the boss told me that new models might be coming out within this month so I'm gonna wait abit longer and see if i can get it below 10k and I'll be a happy man. The price dropping might be because other brand might be coming out their own version of LED TV so old stocks need to sell off fast, hehe. QUOTE(Barricade @ Aug 7 2009, 03:49 PM) No offence, you buy or your mum buy? Me buying. Why ? Think I cant afford it ? EDIT: Mind telling whats your intention of saying that since its unrelated to the topic? This post has been edited by C_Sagi: Aug 9 2009, 06:28 PM
