Yup, I believe those features will be added in on the incoming patches so having a reliable brand on the media player is very important.

I'm thinking of getting this HiMedia 300D, doesn't looks good but software better than AC Ryan and Xteamer.

the remote control also has more function like 16:9 & 4:3 and fast forward also has drag like PC software....
