i tried... and can't...  need to set to AHCI first n then install ur win xp... i've read the workaround IIRC can't be done with xp... unless u're lucky n can change after install basically i haven't tried the AHCI mode yet which is settable in BIOS.. under SATA config...my PC now still set to IDE then xp can only detect 3 HDD max... sata port 4 n 5 only for optical drive.... no matter how i do it if i connect HDD to Sata 4 n 5 then can't even boot winxp.. but if i'm not mistaken for Intel based mobo the default is already AHCI... |
