1. If new hard disk, u need to format first, bros already explained
2. For eSATA, you need to on the dock first then switch on the PC, yr PC can detect dock as another directory

unless ur PC/Lappie mobo support Esata Hot Swap biggrin.gif

i tried... and can't... sad.gif need to set to AHCI first n then install ur win xp... i've read the workaround IIRC can't be done with xp... unless u're lucky n can change after install biggrin.gif

basically i haven't tried the AHCI mode yet which is settable in BIOS.. under SATA config...my PC now still set to IDE then xp can only detect 3 HDD max... sata port 4 n 5 only for optical drive.... no matter how i do it if i connect HDD to Sata 4 n 5 then can't even boot winxp..

but if i'm not mistaken for Intel based mobo the default is already AHCI...

Updated to 2233 firmwware.

Just a brief testing I did only. Haven't played around further. I dread what I might find further  biggrin.gif . Can't revert back to original firmware as it would require reformatting the HD doh.gif

Not speak highly of anything but reminding ppl if use the right tools for the job.  using mkv player to play back bdiso is halfbaked. As for me not getting one, well exploring ways to get it soon.
*
that's y u need to grab those hybrid player quick to at least poison ppl here that they are missing the real tools.. thumbup.gif
