Why not get heatsinks instead to put at the bottom?

They are availabe in many sizes from long strips to massive finned blocks.

I just bought it recently and haven't got time to find any solutions for ventilation yet...it's just temporary solution laugh.gif btw, where can we buy heat sinks? normally how much does it cost? hmm.gif

if you using HDMI cable, one HDMI cable is sufficient for both audio & video output , no need to using another component cable for audio

bro, cos not every one got a HDMI capable AVR.. so maybe HDMI goes to TV and RCA either goes to amp or even TV... (if TV doesnt have DTS decoding via HDMI)

also Acryan seems to be very picky on audio playback via HDMI of some media with DTS track...

http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=1817

maybe new firmware already solve these problems??.. not sure..
*
laugh.gif my fault, I misunderstand his question...I thought he asked whether it's need HDMI cable + RCA cable to an avr for audio & video output

Bro ar188, you using HD media player or BDP? sure BDP lor.....mind to share your HT setup?

if you using BD drive to read BD rom (i.e. computer files, like mkv m2ts etc), maybe can if ac ryan allows it..

if you play back commercial BDs.. no way.. (you will need Dune or C-200) to do it...
*
Wow, you got Dune & C-200 as well?

for mkv & m2ts, I rather use AC Ryan since I have it.....I thought the ext BD opt drive can playback those commercial BDs, if yes then it's really worth to invest on it since it's not expensive now....too bad it can't

So far there are two firmwares have been released, if I update the firmware, can I straight away update the latest released firmware? or must update one by one? hmm.gif any POHD users can provide some guidances? icon_question.gif

Also, it seems that the remote control is very important since we using it to control everything on the POHD, can we buy stand alone POHD remote control? hmm.gif (in case the remote is spoiled....touch wood laugh.gif )

Thanks a lot in advance! notworthy.gif

It is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than WDTV Live! It can play rmvb you know?! That's the most important feature people look for when you look for HD media player. Do not get the WDTV Live, wait for this to restock, you won't regret it. drool.gif  drool.gif  drool.gif

nod.gif totally agree......very much enjoy my AC Ryan thumbup.gif rclxms.gif .....now waiting for the firmware update for bs.iso playback

btw, I still prefer mkv over 720p rmvb coz the PQ of mkv apparently better than 720p rmvb
