hmm i dont have avi in my collection but i have plenty mkv and few wmv so far can play smoothly....

only watch like 10% of what i got...

dunno how and when to finish watching all....

I think AC Ryan is a very good media player, but I avoided it because some people say it still lag playing some difficult mkv and it still cannot play files with reframe rate higer than 4 reframe...i think. So far I think WDTV Live is the only cheapo player that can play all smoothly.

mine so far no issue or lagging....the only problem i encounter is when playing TF1...but when play on PC its ok but when using POHD theres a crackling and distortion sound and picture. dunno why but the rest so far ok, coz everytime after i download i test to preview the movie etc..


actually i redownload or copied most of the movie that i watch before but this time in HD glory so no regret....

err i think around 30 plus already....so far 2TB full...might buy another HD soon hehehe....

I just bought the player last month, didn't had the time to fix it up until the last weekend and also update the latest firmware.
After using the player for a few day and there is 2 issue and hope you guys can help me out.

1. Can't seem to be able to transfer file from external HDD to internal HDD via USB, and i follow the step from the manual.
2. When Skip the movie too fast. no audio.


Hope you guys can help me out on this.

hmmm.... thinking of getting one too....

did you format your internal HDD using POHD or not? if not there could be the problem coz i face same thing before then afterwards after i format the internal HDD then i easily can transfer back and forth to POHD to external HDD.

reason because POHD is using linux formatting process and also when formating using POHD it reserved certain amount of space around 300MB if not mistaken for buffering. so again format your internal HDD using POHD.

yes sir, format using POHD player. then it will create several hidden partition. so let say u have 1TB but whe nu connect to your PC u wont get 1TB but lesser

That prompting message for formatting is really annoying,
Eventually, I accidentally pressed n formatted mine, i managed to recover them fully with software.... lucky me
