QUOTE(mopster @ Jul 24 2009, 06:36 PM) Looks like it is time to do homework... 1) I don't think it is available. It is a private company now, they have no obligation to let public or others to know. Unless they want to relist back.I plan to find out : 1)Maxis' financial status since they gone private... 2)Whats the reason to relist.. whether it has anything to do with Astro/Measat.. 3)Why they delist maxis last time.. 4)Their past DY.. 5)Current telco market... yeah read on stars.. last done price was 15.60.. please help/advise if I should pay attention to anything else... 2) Maxis and Astro/Measat are separate entity, I don't know why market keep on dragging both into rumour. Yes, they could be under restructuring process which major shareholders can consolidate them together, but I fail to understand why the rumour doesn't die off after Astro has public clarify they have nothing to do with Maxis. Maxis size is way much bigger than Astro. If Maxis to list, they can list on their own, don't need to use Astro as backdoor. 3) They want to do something that shareholders might not approving, while major shareholders can get some profit and partnership with Arab investors. Last done price (15.60) is meaningless now. How much the company share price could be depended on existing company fundamental/value and share issuance. |

Maxis has not made a decision on relisting but brothers here are already counting the money to be made.
Wish I could have such childlike faith to make myself happy ;-) |
