i recently got my laptop & wanna play cod4 on it
i try copy & paste entire save file from my desktop (win xp)
at 1st it is ok, but now whenever i run it, it asks me to run in safe mode everytime & i have to adjust setting everytime
it is very annoying, i dun change anything on my laptop
pls help me!

the few reason that i know y the same thing occur on ur game.
a) is ur laptop meet the mininum requirments of the game?
b) did you quit the game normally ? ( game crash or game hang and u have to restart the comp will prompt safe mode )

thats what it happens to me sometimes.

When they ask you to run in safe mode, just say no? Then you don't have to change your settings every time..?

1. sure pass minimum, my laptop is dell studio 1555
2. i alwaz quit it normally, is it switch between multiplayer & single player considered as abnormal shutdown?

now the message box come out randomly reinstall still like tat

Just say no whenever the system ask. Easy as that.

i tot "choose no" will cause next time message box come out again but it seems both same

my desktop dun have problem at all, kinda weird

My laptop also had that problem, but when changed to desktop then no moar edi.

Try exit CoD4 using type this '\quit' in console.
