Hi, I am thinking of getting a career in audio/sound engineering but I have several concerns.
1. I don't have any academic background but I do have experience in audio engineering and did try to pick a bit of sound engineering software before. Do I need to have some sort of certification first?
2. I can't find any info about this industry/career online. How do I break in to this industry?
3. How much would the salary be as an amateur in this field?

Sorry, I think I did not make it clear enough. What I meant for sound engineering is more towards live sound engineering like for a concert, where we work with different types of mixers and audio equipment to ensure the audience always listening to the best sound in real-ti
