You could probably get off with a very good portfolio. Most audio companies tend to focus more on what you can do instead of what papers you have. I am currently teaching at Ocean Institute of Audio Technology (Sri Damansara). We are by far the cheapest among all audio courses. Let me know if you are looking to learn officially. We do have short courses aswell.

P/S The only Audio Engineering degree in Malaysia is currently offered by IUCTT(Twintech). And they have no students...
