20K is because it has a whopping 2,560 x 1,080-pixel screen (that’s better than normal HDTVs with 1,920x1,080-pixel resolution), 200Hz refresh rate, five HDMI inputs and uses a CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) backlight.

Is that superior or inferior to LEDs?

LED is better in terms of energy efficiency, lighting consistency, but more expensive due to the limited use compared to the more mature CCFL lighting.
