Bro,
Need advice from bros who owns yamaha AVR/DVD player. I changed my tv cabinet last mth after getting a new LCD. Somehow, after fixing back the cables , i can't get dts and i realised the dts cable dissappeared.
Now i am lost..what cable is for the dts? is it those optical cable? I noticed behind the dvd player there's a small hole for dts. Any adv?
Tks

You have a separate DVDP and AVR right? It should be an optical cable.
Though it's not used specifically for DTS actually. I think your DVDP can't decode DTS internally, so it needs to bitstream to the AVR. The only way to do this is via optical or coaxial (for non-HDMI DVDP).

I called the Yammy service centre, they told me don't hv to put the optical disc, it's the internal setting. Gosh..not sure whtr he knws what he is talking about. Cheers.
