Can anybody come up with a figure on how much this guy con you guys already. You may have to go the Civil Court way to attack.

When you bank-in money to other people's account voluntarily, it is not a crime. However, banking money under false pretense or cheat is an offence under the Penal Code. Bear in mind though if you really want to push this, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

Dude, you realize something? By appearing here, and admitting that your brother did con all the people here, means that your brother did something wrong already. Whether he is in the process of refunding or not, people that he conned have every right to drag him to jail.

Remember, it doesn't matter whether you stole RM1 or RM100,000, stealing is stealing. It is about time, and for the integrity of this forum as a business place that a confirmed con case gets resolve using Malaysian law.

And joechan, you protecting your brother gets you dragged in as 'bersubahat', since you definately know where he is, so please, either you resolve all of this con by your brother, by restitution for all his victims, or send your brother to the police. Its that simple. Personally, since you all said you miskin, send him to the police. The jail time is the payment for all the unfortunate victim here.

If he is lucky, that he kena only 2 years, with discount somemore maybe 1 year plus dah keluar already. But after that, good luck la finding work, masuk universiti and all. Since people have so much info on this guy and family, its not hard to get police cooperation to track him down.

The choice is yours.

Answer a few questions then..

1. You said you must protect because he is your brother.

2. At the same time, you claim ignorance and asked everyone here not to involve you in a case you claim your brother started.

3. You said he doesn't live with you and you don't know where he is, and your family has kicked him out.

4. Yet you know his email address, that he opened another nick supposedly to refund, that you are forcing him to refund. You know so many details about what he is doing.

Let's make this simple. If you really want to protect your brother, claiming ignorance is not the way.

1. Restitution to the people here. They have enough info on your family, and are baying for blood. If your brother can't afford to do so, then you must do so. That's how you protect your brother.

2. Teach him a lesson. That's what family is for. Lock him in the house, whatever. Monitor his movement, his action. Send him for counseling. If that doesn't work, send HIM TO JAIL! He may not like the lesson, but he needs to learn it. Today conning RM900 per person, tomorrow?

You will be in trouble, should one of the con victim makes a police report saying you are also involved.
