Dear all,

Yes, i agree the new ER6N 2012 is handsome. It makes me feels like want to ride again after i bought my car 5 years ago. My first bike was EX5.

I am thinking of getting the ER6N but i have not ride a bike with clutch before. Any advice from all the taiko here on how to start? By the way, i only have B2 licence now....

Soundsys,

Thanks. But all my friend are now driving cars already. Don't know where to borrow a clutch bike...

its quite easy.. i havent ride a clutched bikes before.. same as u, i was riding ex5 when i was in uni. got a decent job, i bought second hand tzm.. took only 1 day to master the clutch. the day after, straight away ride the tzm, albeit few times engine mati at the traffic lights  whistling.gif but the tzm i bought was not a good one. so many problem. sold off after less than 1 year. im thinking of getting ER6N later on.. now have family that need to be feed of smile.gif rolleyes.gif

Multiplexer,

Yes I believe the clutch bike is easy enough to master as I did try my uncle Yamaha 125z 5 years ago. Manage to get the bike going but also mati enjin at traffic light.

I went to welly batu cave, they start taking order for ER6N 2012 already. First batch is going to be yellow color only. Price not confirm but should not exceed RM34k they said....

Now, I'm thinking for a newbie like me, should I get a new bike or second hand first?

The price is about RM 200 ++ more compared to previous model.
If you have ready cash and focus on the model you like (eg. ER6n 2012), go for new one.
If not, get second hand 2011 and below, but make sure you bring a friend that knows the bike and buy directly from previous owner smile.gif
