Hi guys, I have been personally collecting posters, Movie posters (Anime to a much lesser extent) to be exact. Just for the sake of making myself sound pro, here's a description ripped shamelessly from Wikipedia: sweat.gif

A poster is any piece of printed paper designed to be attached to a wall or vertical surface. Typically posters include both textual and graphic elements, although a poster may be either wholly graphical or wholly textual. Posters are designed to be both eye-catching and convey information.

Just wanting to see whether there are any like-minded people around icon_question.gif

*supporting this thread* biggrin.gif

I used to collect movie posters during my college years; would paste them all over my wall at the dorm (even at the halls and kitchen lol) tongue.gif

Always went with my buddies to Petaling Street to buy those posters from this one uncle with angry face laugh.gif

I'm wondering are the posters sold in most shops original or just copy?

Anyone know where to get Japanese beer posters with famous actress/models, like Asahi etc? Not those sexy ones like Guiness found in Kopi Shops. I saw a few in Japanese Restaurants.

Actually, there are not many shops selling posters to begin with. For movie posters, only the authentic ones are printed both back and front so that when display it produce a better effect.

Though some companies acquire licenses to mass produce some posters for commercial reasons (Gone With The Wind is still in printing!), these mass produced ones are only printed one side

^yeah, i also wanna know any recommended shops to frame up the posters (hard cardboard/glass frame)

attached some ori posters (glossy, double-sided) from the 90s, like Titanic, Phantom Menace, Batman, and even the ori 1977 Star Wars single & 6sheeter poster,

Hi!
Do you guys know where can I get some indie movie posters here in Malaysia?
I hate to buy on-line since it so pricey! (shipment etc.)
E.g: Little Miss Sunshine, Once, 500Days of Summer...

Thanks in advance~
