compugates reached 0.065 today,seems like there is panic selling

MM's intention is to let the old thread sinks to the bottom.

So everything is new and clean.

my target price still 0.05sen before entering....

I still believe in my source, this counter is being cornered and a series of bad news.
After lossing its distributorship, when it is confirmed i believe the sell down will happen. Hope can catch by then.
The company will not close down as yet even lossing 44% of its revenue, so catching them at 0.05sen, even if total
loss also at a bearable 0.05sen but the gain is ernomous is the big fish is really goreng.
The above sound gamble to me but is worth betting your money.
All i can do is wait patiently.

if it go lower then 0.060 then better lagi dont touch but now seem kinda staying in a level .

I am sure Compugates would fly if Google were to announce any taking over of the co.

Bottom line , still needs to inject a bit of fundamental into it.

I dont realise Cherroy is a moderator. I think he or she is fair. I think it is interesting to know:
1) how many mother shares in Bursa's history have made a turnaround after reaching 6.5sen?
2) is there a mandatory or dsicretionary rule empowering Bursa to delist counters below certain price, say 5sen?
3) is there a requirement on trading volume after a share falls below say 5sen.

Can someone shed some light? Thanks.

I don think so .. There are many share below 0.05 cents .. and still there for so long .. US stocks used to have this , but now has been removed due to AIG ..

There are many counter that hit well below 6.5 and made a recovering. It's easy to do that research. Talam was one case I can recall top of mind. Ditched to 3.5 sen and zoomed to 14 sen

I am quite sure a counter is required to have certain activities over a period of time.

1) The main reason Bursa UMA on this counter because the turnover and trading pattern (previous high volume trade) is simply too huge which one day trading volume can be way exceeding free float company shares. It is an unsual for any stocks for have volume per day 2x or 5x more than its available free float share.

2). No. As long as company shareholders fund is positive (if not mistaken >25%) of the total paid up. It doesn't violate any listing rule, be it your stock is traded at 0.005.
Company will be delisted due to negative shareholder fund or NTA (almost the same), which can occur if company making loss, or not having core business activities aka not doing business.

3) No, your share can be no trade for the whole year which there is no rule stated on how much volume must be.

I notice there is heavy buying @ 0.070 but at a slower phase.....

MM's modus operandi.
He will hit at a time that people lease expect. Even the followers sometimes get hit. It's a merciless business. To stay out of MM games, trade stocks invested by portfolio manager or institution. MM dare not fool around with those kind of counters.

At this price, it is not much if you were to buy a few hundred lots.

I am trying to understand to give myself reasons I should buy this counter when it falls to 1sen one day. It makes some sense for me to put in RM10,000 to buy at 1 sen one day for fun. The odd then is bigger than Genting's TAI SAI as I can hold till it reaches fair value of 2 to 3 sen or treat the RM10K like a gambling loss. At least I have 100% potential gain then.

Miracles do happen but do not bet your house away.

Allocation of A small amount of let say less than 1-5% may not hurt the pocket too much.

For one sen, you could get Call Warrants.

I think Compugates reserves a better rating than one sen.

My fair value is 2 to 3 sen, so I will go in only if the upside is attrractive.

It is sad Msia has no put warrant, which is due to short-selling being very restricted in Msia. Call warrant is meant for issuers with long position on shares. Put is the other way round.

Call warrant with 1sen is normally even worse than Compugt as it is normally vastly out of money and remaining time to expiry is hopelessly near.

Talam is not in the same case as compugt. Talam is bad company to become better company. PN17 will be remove soon. Compugt ia going to be bad. I bet tomorrow QB < SQ.

Ok lah, I am not a mean person. I always try to help by providing fundamental side of the shares to the best of my knowledge. Obviously that is not positively received.

I am sorry for those who feel insulted especially ZPOW. i wrote in order to enlighten and correct those who understood financials wrongly or interpreted the results in a very skewed and misleading way- as it was so rampant before i wrote in. Some people were peeved because they could have invested a lot in this counter, that they could not bear to hear any negative news abt it, however logical it may be. I don't blame them, though, because sometimes the way the sentences are strung together made it look like the people who have invested made a foolish mistake, and a serious error of judgment.

Nor do I blame those who have the courage to point out negative aspects that they know about this company. I do not think they have anything bad in mind.

As for me, I don't intend to jump into this boat, not until I've come across any new leads about where the company is headed. At the moment, I'll just put COMPUGT in the favorites list in my platform and see how things progress.

Just finished reading about Compugate from the banned thread. I have to say, I was having a hearty laugh at the way the 'discussion' went, lol.

Like I said, my take on the company is to wait-&-see, not going to go in now. Might not jump into it after all. However, to those who are holding the shares, I do not think that all the doom & gloom. I still sense that the counter can rise a bit more, but how long still ? I do not know.

The price has remain stagnant for quite some time dy, and the volume is incredibly high.

By no means I am saying the company is not good, but it might be a good idea for potential investors to find other companies to invest instead.

Reference is made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s letter dated 20 July 2009 and the Company’s announcements made on 16 July 2009 and 17 July 2009, in relation to the termination of the Distributionship Agreement Celcom Prepaid Mobile between Celcom Mobile Sdn Bhd (“Celcom”) and Compugates Sdn Bhd (“CSB”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, dated 30 April 2007 (“Distributorship Agreement”).

Append below are the additional information as requested:-

1. The effective date of the termination of the Distributorship Agreement is 28 July 2009.

2. Celcom is a major supplier of the Compugates Group. Celcom contributed RM337,185,000 in revenue which constitutes 49% of the Company’s revenue in year 2008. However Celcom contributes RM335,000 to the net loss after taxation in year 2008.

3. There were no significant events leading to the service of the notice of termination of the Distribution Agreement by Celcom. Celcom had served the notice of termination pursuant to Clause 15.2 of the Distribution Agreement which provides that “Celcom may terminate this Agreement, without any liability and assigning any reasons whatsoever to the Distributor, by giving the Distributor fourteen (14) days prior written notice.”

4.
