Just bought a new MBP, 15" yesterday (10 Dec 09) at Machines in 1U. I just check and the os is OS X 10.5.8 , not snow leopard as i'd expect.
Shouldn't I be getting Snow Leopard instead ?

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Dec 11 2009, 12:46 AM) YEAH RIGHT~~~ hahahah good idea. i remember some cases ppl get 10.5.8 installed but the DVD that came with the mac is SL No luck, the dvd comes with 10.5.7 ! QUOTE Continuing from your original thread, you should be happy that you've got Leopard with an option for SL... Imagine some of your older apps are still not compatible with SL, while newer apps sometimes cost arms and legs to upgrade, you still have the option to run them on Leopard until they do... Never thought of it that way... just wanted to get the latest.. checking all my apps again..
