My friend's offered to let me use his educational discount (he's a university lecturer) to buy one of the new MBPs, but I noticed during the checkout process that there doesn't seem to be any sort of verification of eligibility. I'm holding off on confirming the order because I'm a little wary of what issues this might bring up later on--any thoughts?

QUOTE(Kernkraft400 @ Apr 15 2010, 01:46 AM) There would be no problems as there won't be any verification whether you're a student or not. But just don't take advantage on the student discounted price, man. Unless you're A student yourself. Take point on the present tense I am using. So what, I should pay several hundred extra even though I'm trying to do this fairly legitimately? Good Lord.
