Definitely something happening soon. I just did a CTO 15" MBP and it went to ships in 4 business days when its usually 1-3 business days.
Maybe something, maybe not. Just wait and see I guess.

QUOTE(tr|n|ty @ Oct 13 2009, 12:54 PM) by christmas will have new models which include mac book air? currently i want to spend some money but dont know what to do with it. so i thought of getting macbook air. i dont play much games, design, photoshop etc. just doing normal paperwork plus online. well the only games i normally played on pc is simulation games, like sims, football manager and stuff. so i'm having this dilenma not sure of getting it now or after christmas or after cny? any advise? Rumour is that the mac mini and iMac's most probably see a refresh by end of this month. MBP refresh slated for Q1 of next year. But now with Nvidia pulling out the GPU market, there's a further speculation on what good video cards Apple will use in their next refresh.

QUOTE(cRazYee @ Oct 18 2009, 03:27 AM) definitely wrong, it's the technology and engineering behind the apple logo you definitely got steve ballmer's laptop hunter's virus. thinking on one site only Can't say I agree with you. The technology and engineering behind the apple logo, in case of the 'book's, plays only a small small part on why people chose to use Mac's. You can go out and get more advanced and highly customisable notebooks at a lesser price to Macs but people still go out and buy Macs. I switched from PC to Mac back in 2007 when the Mac's started using Intel processors and since then purchased 6 'books to date. For me the switch was due to MacOSX and the fact that it Unix based, and also (important) dual bootable. So I would say it was the software that Mac's ran on that made me switch. QUOTE(SheepMekk @ Oct 24 2009, 11:28 PM) Adding cycles to my battery? Is that good? Nope. Try to keep the charger plugged in as often as possible. Reduces the number of cycles.

QUOTE(SheepMekk @ Mar 3 2010, 08:30 PM) Hey guys, do you guys experience this before? Sometimes when I boot up the laptop, I can't seem to use the 3 or 4 finger gestures, but one and two finger still works. I have to restart once or several times to make it work again. What is the problem? my mbp or the software? Its a widely reported problem, still waiting for a fix from Apple (if they acknowledge and apply a patch). Forget the PRAM reset crap.
