QUOTE(azrinarizz @ Apr 13 2010, 09:49 AM) Do remember its still the 12th in the US yes yes I have checked regarding the education price from the apple website It also applies for softwares too. Then I guess I can save more Since I am a SPM graduate. I just need to get my parents help with the payment right and I am done? |

how about the screen resolution? do you guys think upgrade from 1,440-by-900-pixel to high-resolution, 1,680-by-1,050 is a good choice?
Added on April 14, 2010, 3:19 am QUOTE(kazasho @ Apr 14 2010, 03:10 AM) If buy ACPP when you buy your mac, you will get extra phone call support (need confirmation). Thats the only difference I think. which mouse u r using now? Dunno about magic mouse but Im not a fan of Apple mouse. More into high dpi mouse This post has been edited by mememe12: Apr 14 2010, 03:19 AM |

QUOTE(fyire @ Apr 14 2010, 11:21 AM) That depends actually. I'm now on a 13' MBP temporarily and the only times that I feel the constraint is when I'm working on something that requires high resolution. thanks... i m still undecided... One thing for me that'll come in very useful on a high res screen though, is that I can use Interface Builder for doing up iPad application screens without having to scroll up and down too much Originally I had been pondering on the 17' screen 'cause of this, but looks like I can do with just the 15' with the upgraded display. |

QUOTE(LaminatedButterfly @ Apr 14 2010, 12:27 PM) Im loving the price drop..but it may apparently take awhile to arrive(perhaps 2 weeks for my custom config 15 inch mbp..replacement for my 5 year old powerbook)..Just spoke to a rep from Apple about it. wah... so long? i tried to customise.. and they show me 2 - 4 days.. btw.. would like to hear more inputs regardingIs it available in stores in and around KL already? "upgrade from 1,440-by-900-pixel LED-backlit, glossy display to a high-resolution, 1,680-by-1,050 glossy for RM294" 1) worth it? 2) good for photo editing user? 3) or any pros and cons? sorry for always asking bout this.. bcoz it is something that cant be changed after purchase |

QUOTE(LaminatedButterfly @ Apr 15 2010, 09:43 AM) You can only track once your unit gets shipped out..Apple will send you an email about it...custom configs will take a little longer QUOTE(wiraone @ Apr 15 2010, 09:50 AM) If you've customised yours, it probably need to wait for a while until you get the shipping notification from Apple. When you've got this, you could track where it is. Stock standard comes from Singapore, customised one comes from Shanghai I believe. okok.. thanks for the reply.. i cant wait to have a first touch on first Mac Opss.. LB has answered it already .. |
