If buy ACPP when you buy your mac, you will get extra phone call support (need confirmation). Thats the only difference I think.

using 1440 x 900. it serve me pretty well. satisfy with it atm.

That depends actually. I'm now on a 13' MBP temporarily and the only times that I feel the constraint is when I'm working on something that requires high resolution.

One thing for me that'll come in very useful on a high res screen though, is that I can use Interface Builder for doing up iPad application screens without having to scroll up and down too much

Originally I had been pondering on the 17' screen 'cause of this, but looks like I can do with just the 15' with the upgraded display.

Im loving the price drop..but it may apparently take awhile to arrive(perhaps 2 weeks for my custom config 15 inch mbp..replacement for my 5 year old powerbook)..Just spoke to a rep from Apple about it.

i bought 2 times MBP and MB using credit caard and debit card(as credit card) using Education store.
They never ask anything rgds student things.
Not sure with latest rules.

just bought through education store.. no document needed. just click accept. LOL

the base 13".. no money for 15".. LOL..
upgrade the HDD to 320GB, ordered iwork and incase hardcase shell..

hi guys...congrats to my self for my 1st apple product purchase.. 13" mbp with 500GB hdd thru apple store. Waited so long till cannot tahan anymore.. .estimated to deliver 22-26...haih...tido malam termimpi mimpi..

Might be upgrading the HDD straight once it reaches me to a WD scorpio black or maybe play with the stock HDD first 

Status showing mine is at Subang airport already .. but arghh, probably missed morning delivery due to delay in transportation as in the shipment status. Do they do afternoon delivery??? or DHL only do one round a day?

You can only track once your unit gets shipped out..Apple will send you an email about it...custom configs will take a little longer

If you've customised yours, it probably need to wait for a while until you get the shipping notification from Apple. When you've got this, you could track where it is. Stock standard comes from Singapore, customised one comes from Shanghai I believe.
