I have been observing apple's stock prices since the launch of the ipad. Basically it's on a downturn. Probably due to the fact that no one can pre-order them cause it hasn't been approved by the FCC and mainly cause a lot of people were expecting updates for the MacBook pro. It's a bit overdue. But I doubt the updated models will come with USB3.0. It hasn't really gone mainstream yet. And I'm not sure if there is a mobile reference board with USB3.0 out yet seeing nvidia isn't making chipsets for the arrandale CPUs.

I could be very wrong though. Just my two cents

well, basically, everyone is seeing no profit coming in
iPad is underwhelming, no Macbook pro update, iMac 27 issue

so, stay in usd190 margin....

I think it would be a i7 , and the MBP will come with the USB3.0 too

i juz found out a Dell 15" i7 only costs 4k+. it'd be quite hard to push ppl to buy a 15" C2D laptop later ;p

I don't see apple going to update the USB 3.0..it could be a bag of hurt for them.

on the contrary apple was the one who pioneered the usage of the mouse and Firewire which eventually became a standard. Oh and how many items that you know in the market that uses USB 3.0? or any pecee manufacturers that use this standard now?

The Applestore was temporarily down last night and I was hoping that it will come back with the new MBP line up .. but .. arghh.. the only thing got updated was the Aperture 3.. damn..!

i don't think implement usb 3.0 in mbp is practical right now..not this year at least..

Anyone know which software for mac that can open MKV format files? And is there anyway i could adjust the colour saturation when playing a video ? The video seems not enough colour a.k.a washed out ...

colour too much difference compare to original...i even tested in windows , the colour in windows is far better...
