it is to install windows on mac...u still need a copy of windows

u got two choices...use bootcamp (its built in so it doesnt cost u anything...n have to partition) or virtual machine (either parallels desktop, vmware fusion or virtualbox...no need to partition). there's plenty of info about this if u care to do a search in this forum.

the rm6800+ u said is for the higher-spec 13" MBP. the lower spec would be RM6k.

Thanks for your kind reply. Im start to search on MAC nowadays.

the modem thing is about some1 else ;p

launch Activity Monitor to see if there are any apps using too much CPU cycles n memory. pay attention to the CPU (those are in percentages...max is 200%) and RSIZE. at the bottom, pay attention to CPU n system memory. try to let Activity Monitor run when u're using ur mac...whenever u experience the lag, check for any 'spikes' in AM indicating any apps are using too much CPU or memory

what do u think that makes u lag? is it only when u're watching videos, etc...?

if images shouldnt be a problem... as i said, the objective way is to look at the numbers in activity monitors...

lagging only during surfing is it?

Nice share, man! .... Rivatuner is a gem. I had installed it and followed the setting from the page. It makes two of my problematic games runs as smooth as the desktop pc at HIGH RES.

Dead Space - No More Audio Gone when touching TouchPad. (Haha.. pls dun believe i am playing game with touchpad.. i just try to do everything wif a laptop.)

L4D 2 - No more Audio lag and Graphics Stunt.

Unfortunately Bioshock still no sound after load into In-Game.

This is a new knowledge for me to tweak the best performance in bootcamp XP.. I felt that RivaTuner seems to cool down the bootcamp XP slightly 20%.
So far, it seems no more sudden heat up once load into bootcamp XP desktop.

I will keep spending more time in studying how to tweak RivaTuner and more driver conflict information from the page you shared with me.

Indeed helpful.. At least it shows my machine are not really hardware issue.

Thanks alot!

p/s: Still no way to adjust screen res to 1440x900..haha...
*
for the resolution issue, i have to idea cuz my one run great in 7

I have one issue with Windows 7 though. I'm currently using Mighty Mouse and it connects to the MBP via bluetooth. Problem is... everytime I reboot, Windows 7 cannot find my mouse. So I had to redo the entire procedure of searching for the mouse and connect to it again everytime.

With OSX, it just works. It'll find the mouse.

I've been running my MB for over a week without shutting down, and no problems so far. Like dvlzplayground mentioned, open up Activity Monitor and see if there's anything hogging up your CPU or Memory.

Its worth a try with the Onyx then. If you are familiar wif CCLeaner.
This is the similar tool and even much more functions.
give it a try.

Click the top right corner "My Processes" and choose "All Processes" to see everything. If there's anything that is taking a lot of CPU processing or memory, it's probably hogging up your machine. Any reason why you have 1.75GB of ram?

Add: Weird that you have total memory added up to 2GB but on the pie chart it shows only 1.75GB?
