1. Write in a letter politely requesting the developer to refund your booking fee.

2. If above fail, you can go for option a or b as described below:

a. you can file a claim at Tribunal for Homebuyer Claims which costs you RM10.00.

b. engage a lawyer to write in a letter of demand which only costs you a few hundred ringgit.

The Housing Regulation 11(2) stated: “No housing developer shall collect any payment by whatever name called except as prescribed by the contract of sale”. (In this context’ contract of sale means the SPA)

I'd managed to get 100% refund after write in a letter to developer even thought the booking receipt did state that not refundable. So no harm to try. icon_rolleyes.gif
