Fan of the series but this Aizen being a supervillian type is seriously annoying. The whole saga is dragging along and really, how many more "traumatic revelations" are left to pull out of the rabbit hat. You have not one, but two traitors/moles; you had the noble enemy henchmen, the emo dude, the "strong but gets betrayed", you have "this is all illusions" and now you got "it's all my masterplan".

I'm disappointed he didn't say "It's over 9000 meters!"

I guess the next twist (literally) is that the weapon can twist around or branch into different directions.

I can imagine the yaoi jokes already.

I think I seen this before. Son Goku going Super Saiya-jin for the first time against Freeza. The ultimate bad guy (up to that arc) suddenly found himself helpless against a mysteriously powered up main hero.
