This is only my speculation, maybe ichigo mastered a new skill of his bankai or maybe his bankai has level 2 (since he mastered it in such a short time, maybe it's not complete yet, that goes for renji n ikkaku too) then his new skill/bankai cannot work n he +hollow and it reproduced a more pro combo XD

let me get this straight,gin's zanpakutou in its shikai form allows it to extend its blade pretty fast while its bankai form just allows it to extend longer?
