QUOTE(alpha33 @ Jul 26 2011, 06:06 PM)
hello guys....want to ask something about string tension and pain in shoulder.

I recently increased my string tension from 24 to 26. Then my shoulder(is it called the pivot area?) started to pain everytime i smash, lob or make hard hits. The pain will last 2 -3 days then go away. Then it will return the next game.

I only play once a week. Could it be the reason? Should i lower the tension, or should i play until my shoulder can accept the tension?

thanks!

hi bro

it just means ur overusing ur arm + the higher tension of the strings is being slightly hard on your arms/hands.

u just need to adjust to the tension. and use a proper technique to hit the shuttle. hitting technique with high tension is quite important to avoid further injury.

=)
