i dont think it's open yet
this saturday should be the first day
i went to scout yesterday, still empty
from my noob observation:
- rubber floor doesnt LOOK that nice (lose to sports affairs, extreme park, n maybe even challenger cuepacs)
- fluorescent light housing is tilted at an angle, no risk of shuttle getting trapped on top
- ceiling should be high enough for normal game
- a bit dangerous at some part (glass panels and steel columns/bolts near to court)
- could see 6 courts from outside, inside should have another 4 i think
- located next to TGV counters (movie goers will have full view of one of the courts)
- parking inside the 1shamelin mall costs rm1 per entry for now

okay...i was at Pioneer Badminton Academy at 1Shamelin

1. rubber court quality was okay, should be better than challenger cuepacs
2. lighting was fine, ceiling colour was fine
3. total courts 14
4. environment was nice, no wind, not stuffy, a bit cooling (but will cold die u when ur drenched in sweat n go to the counter)
5. still my concern with some parts which is a bit dangerous (glass panels, steel columns/bolts/nuts)
6. today there wasnt any bench or chairs beside courts, not sure about the future
7. the employee told me the future rates (as far as i remember):
weekdays off peak RM16/hr (RM10/hr for students)
weekdays peak RM50 for 2.5hrs (walk in)
weekdays peak RM46 for 2.5hrs (long term booking)
weekends and public holidays RM20/hr

looking for players actually. want to improve game. sure hope ur friend can try us out, but dont expect too much tho.haha. but we do have effort while playing
