i think at the moment only acer 4736g which come with 3 yrs waranty and 4 gb ram with t6500 and G105m and cost rm2299 is another good deal..otherwise k40ab or k50ab is the best choice with rm2k budget.

hi all , i want to ask is this k40ab can play need for speed shift,section 8,Wolfenstein & Batman: Arkham Asylum smoothly ?

LIKE IT HAS BEEN SAID MANY MANY TIMES, there's no heat issues. Already mentioned a zillion times, and yet it has to be mentioned over again..gosh..some ppl juz do not understand 

So go and buy one and u will have more fun wif it....^^

why u say k40ab is far better??? cos the gc is better? any other aspect? actually acer its also come with 4 gb ram and 3 yrs waranty and hdmi port..this is the good point.. but quality wise not sure lor..

no problem buddy...a bluetooth adapter will do ^^ but a bit troublesome lor coz u need to bring it with u since u use it quite frequent

win xp rite? i'm not sure how many unknown drivers u need to install. but for win 7, i can confirm only the display driver is needed
try goin to asus site and download the required XP dirvers

to use the Fn button to control volume, display etc, u need to install the ATK drivers by asus.the website should hav it

yes the keyboard buttons are a bit soft. but not an issue to me, juz a matter of getting used

the speakers are OK(better than i've expected), i've heard worst audio from other lappies.

volume control-try install the latest via vinyl audio driver...

if you want better sound quality,go for desktop speaker...
