Added on September 12, 2009, 11:31 amtested the new 9.9 driver version(modded it). it is also not stable....but this is worst...desktop driver are just not for laptop...so i decided to use the most stable driver for windows update....but the new catalyst control centre works better, smoother. my suggestion is mod the new 9.9, install it, use windows update to change the driver.

i cant install window update lar..cz after i install when i reboot i dunno y my partition C and D is terbalik and the os is say my profile missing using a temporary user account...
it becum to boot the D

I face this problem b4..just run the direct x 9 installer n then problem solved....

well, i installed directX 9c but the problem still persist...any1 help me?

I install the latest direct x 10 first then install direct x9..then my priblem solved..mine using vista ultimate...

i can installed warhead and playing well....

but i jus cant installed any other game such as crysis , sf4, prototype,warhammer....

i think directX10 is installed when i installed warhead ba....i jus installed directX9 but the problem still there...

How about update the latest direct x online?

i come across this two notebook the 4736G (RM2299) compare to Asus K40AB(rm1999)?

One is Intel C2D @ Geforce 105M GC, 4gb ram, bluetooth, 3 yrs local waranty
another is AMD Athlon X2@ ATI HD 4570 GC..
just wondering which one is more value for money?

250GB is the pioneer version of the model.. now its the 2nd batch.. it comes in 320GB.. suggest go for 320GB.. but higher price lar.. maybe some cooling built effect i heard..

today i checked this notebook, one sell at rm2099 for 320gb and rm1999 for 250gb and another shop sell rm1999 for 320gb..i think maybe they put the wrong price tag or they mislook the price

value for money... im not sure the price for acer.. but i dont trust acer's built quality. its been said sucks..

Yeah...I'm backtracking this thread right now...waa..xtau pulak this lappy is for gaming one....

i know in term of GC K40ab beat acer a lot..but acer come with 3 yrs waranty..just worry the mobo will die after 2 yrs of waranty.. cos my friend's notebook's mobo die after 1 yrs 3 months...and the high temperature also worry me..

acer built quality is still a problem i'd say.. asus has good built quality.. u dont really have to worry.. and this comes with 2 years warranty.. what lappy is ur friends?? high temperature is something u cant avoid on a gaming lappy.. and a lappy for gaming.. u'r gonna have to bear with the high temperature lor..
