QUOTE(Hico @ Oct 9 2009, 08:26 PM) i tried google k40 QL65..really got tat type of spec..mostly from china, taiwan or other country.. maybe local here model it as k45.. seems like its true.. That is lame, really if they only change that. QL64 and QL65, you know the difference between those? Only 200MHz HyperTransport speed increase, I was thinking at least 100MHz clock speed increase to 2.2GHz or maybe DDR2-800MHz support but I don't think this 'new' so-called K45 is going to be any faster EDIT: I don't even believe it called K45, because at different place the CPU is different, look at the K40AB specs all around, they even got Turion X2 Ultra selling somewhere This post has been edited by Najmods: Oct 9 2009, 08:50 PM |

This kind of offtopic question that drags this thread to V2, why the hell did you need to find the HD4570 chip inside it? You want to change the cooler?

QUOTE(xKAIZERUx @ Oct 10 2009, 10:00 AM) just see the BenQ thread. offtopic is the topic itself. that is why they have up until V12. I wish I have post deletion power. Seriously I want this thread clean and easy to access, for people to do references and troubleshooting. hmm... maybe the chip itself is the beside PRocessor, and the chipset is hidden under the Fan? Yes exactly, its buried under the black heatsink fan at the back of the laptop |

Sorry for being harsh but I don't like spoonfeeding too much. Everything you need to know about undervolt is on first postAdded on October 11, 2009, 2:18 am how to make this?can tell more details? Added on October 11, 2009, 2:47 am how to undervolt it?can someone guide me?i know nothing in computer CCC means Catalyst Control Center and ATT is ATi Tray Tools EDIT: Guys, maybe tomorrow I'll make a new thread, I'll tweak the first post info so it would be better and I'll include overclocking HD4570 speed in it too This post has been edited by Najmods: Oct 11 2009, 03:18 AM |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Oct 11 2009, 10:55 PM) Few pages back? Not many people would search few pages, yet alone 122 pages Its easier said than done, you will feel what I feel if this were your thread. Even if I do so, people will still ask the same thing over & over again. I plan to do FAQ on V2, maybe you guys could help do some set of question to help meIts better for TS to compile everything and put it at front page.Much easier for everyone |

QUOTE(GothFebrio @ Oct 12 2009, 12:46 AM) btw Najmods why ur windows 7 experience index on gaming only 4.5 (5.4 when overclock 720/615)? because the default score should be 6 and after overclock is like 6.0+. cuz im getting it like that on my f81se and 2 of my friends who owns K40ab(i ask them to buy, haha) get the same score. and comparing with my brother f8sv using 8600M GT(still not dead, been 2 years, dunno when it will) scores 5.9 by default. I don't use 64-bit Windows 7, there is no point using 64-bit for laptop anyway. I use 32-bit build 7100. Who cares about WEI anyway, I put it because some people nags I put it there, but then they compared to other more expensive laptop like Studio 15 claiming this lappy sux just because they have the same GPU edit: we all using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit(RTM build) |

QUOTE(GothFebrio @ Oct 12 2009, 01:15 AM) owh. maybe because of ur using the rc build. not because the 32 bit or 64 bit. we all use 64 bit because we all hv 4 gigs of ram. it will be a waste if we were to use 32 bit os. Maybe, my desktop have 4GB but I still use 32-bit. I tried it before 64-bit with 6GB on my desktop, but I don't like it. That much RAM but no program can utilize it, I find no reason to stick with 64-bit. So I remove the extra 2GB and use 4GB with 32-bit Windows instead. The 4GB RAM limit issue is not bothering me, as no program I use lags because insufficient RAM yet.and if u say someone nags u to put it(means someone care) why not put the best. Yeah, can you give full WEI score? Maybe tomorrow I'll make new V2 so I need it for some braggin |

9600M got 32 stream processor & 128-bit memory, while 9800M got 96 & 256-bit respectively. Compare that to 80 (16x5) with 64-bit memory. This laptop is entry level, I thought someone with Elite tag on Mobile Computing and Hardware would be at least knowledgeable in this, no offence, so the performance difference should be obvious

QUOTE(prasys @ Oct 14 2009, 04:55 PM) Stop promoting your stuff here I'm all ready for V2, I'll lock this thread myself once it reach 2500 post. The only reason I keep it going is because to let all the spammer do their thing so the V2 will be cleanerPlus TS , get ready for V2. I'll be locking this soon once it reaches about 2500+ posts And please john_jay2, don't post anything not related here. Those are considered useless post that not related to this thread On a side note, I found that the new MSI Afterburner software can monitor temperature, it based on RivaTuner. Although it can detect temperature, it can't overclock it but that is AMD GPU clock tool duty |
