surfing the net, the connection goes up & down, up & down non stop.
some pages dont even fully load

HOWEVER, i can stream youtube vids at max and torrent dload max as well

im on 512.

Well, near pandan cheras, connection just suddenly goes down from 29th Nov till now. Dl's from mg, rs and even mf cuts to single digit.

Wanna cut? nah, maybe I'll make my routine rant call first X(

Hmm. My connection speed has been extremely slow for the past 2 weeks, but now it suddenly went back to 'normal' yesterday. I believe there's a hidden bandwidth quota streamyx's not telling us about

Strange.. my connection went back to normal AFTER I paid my bills (a month overdue though)

my package is 1mbps....so its true...its lucky cuz i tested on 2:43am if I test at 12PM = so slow...

my streamyx now so far so good...coz did not have many subscribers here...

my speedtest is about the same as yours, using 88 package, it is a 1 mb package right?


hi guys, wana ask sumting here, im in terengganu, my current streamyx speed is the same as above speedtest by amiruddin, with megaupload premium acc, i am able to donlod at about 210kbs max but stable around 170-190kbps,

actually this streamyx speed was under my dad streamyx acc in kl, but since he is working in Kota Bahru now,
i switch my original password and username with his.. my orginal speed was 0.70kbps download and 0.20 kbps upload tested using speedtest.net. This is my 512 package. under this package my megaupload premium speed was only max 70-80kbps top..

ok here is the question, my dad is going to terminate his streamyx acc in kl which is the 1mb package, which is 1.6mbps download speed tested with speedtest.net.

1)so is it my dad 1mb package is upgrade to 1.6mb speed or is streamyx accidentally set the wrong speed??

2)since my dad wana potong his streamyx acc in kl, also mean i am no longer able use his username and password anymore and enjoy the speed, i plan to upgrade my original 512mb package acc to 1mb. the question here is whether i am able to enjoy the same speed as my dad's streamyx speed? which is 1.6mb.

After I got the 115 ip, i can no longer enter my router config page, 192.1681.1, after 10-15 minutes of surfing/downloading.

Is it because of the new ip? Is this even possible?

Possibly modem not compatible with the new IP?

I'm using, *cough* D-Link DSL-500T *old*

Anybody experiencing less than 10kB/s download from rapidshare? I'm a rapidshare premium user, been downloading all this while for past a year with consistent speed of 170kB/s till 2 weeks ago, where the download speed had reduced to below 10 kB/s, and sometimes even zero. Anyone aware if TM did anything to throttle the download speed to Rapidshare locations?
